Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Effective for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, Cal. Civ. Code §1798.120) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA, §1798.135).
Citrux Hosting does not sell your personal information for money. We have never received financial consideration for your data and we have no plans to.
However, the CPRA also defines "sharing" broadly to include making personal information available to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. To stay safe, we treat our optional analytics provider (PostHog) as a potential "share" and let you opt out of it on this page.
When you opt out:
- We immediately disable product analytics, session replay, and behavioural cookies for your device.
- If you’re signed in, we record the opt-out on your account so it persists across devices.
- Strictly necessary cookies (sign-in, billing, fraud prevention) remain enabled — they are exempt from CCPA/CPRA opt-out under §1798.140(ah).
- Your account, servers, and billing continue to work normally.
You can also exercise this right by emailing legal@citruxhosting.com with the subject line "CCPA Opt-Out".
Submit your opt-out
One click is all it takes. We’ll honor it for at least 12 months per §1798.135(a)(4).
Authorized agent requests
You may designate an authorized agent to exercise this right on your behalf. We require written proof of authorization (e.g. a signed power-of-attorney) and reasonable verification of your identity before acting on the request. Email proof to legal@citruxhosting.com.
No retaliation
We will not deny goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
